Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition

Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition Unveiled: Only 11 Units to Be Built

Cadillac has unveiled the Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition, an ultra-exclusive version of its high-performance luxury SUV created to celebrate Mexican Formula 1 driver Sergio “Checo” Pérez and his association with the Cadillac Formula 1 Team. Announced on October 19, 2026, the special edition will be limited to just 11 units, exclusively for the Mexican market.

The launch combines Cadillac’s performance-focused V-Series identity with personalised design elements inspired by Pérez’s racing career and his iconic number 11. According to Cadillac Mexico, sales are scheduled to begin through its authorised dealership network on October 20, 2026.

A Special Edition Inspired by Formula 1

The limited-production Escalade-V celebrates Pérez’s motorsport legacy and his new chapter with Cadillac in Formula 1. The number of vehicles reflects the number 11 he uses in racing, giving the edition a distinctive collector-focused identity.

Each vehicle features two individually numbered plaques, ranging from 1/11 to 11/11, incorporating Pérez’s signature. One is positioned on the B-pillar, while the other is located on the centre console.

The exterior is available in black and white configurations, with contrasting interior finishes. Cadillac has also added black Escalade and V-Series badges, monochromatic Cadillac emblems, and distinctive details that separate this edition from the standard Escalade-V.

Additional highlights include a visible carbon-fibre V-Series engine cover, sport pedals, V-Series projection lighting integrated into the exterior mirrors, and an exclusive welcome kit.

682 HP Supercharged V8 Performance

Under the bonnet, the Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition retains the powerful mechanical package of the standard Escalade-V. It is equipped with a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine producing 682 horsepower and 653 lb-ft of torque.

The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, delivering the performance expected from Cadillac’s flagship high-performance SUV.

The chassis and braking package includes six-piston Brembo front brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential, Air Adaptive Ride Suspension, and Magnetic Ride Control. These systems are designed to balance powerful acceleration with stability, comfort, and controlled handling.

The SUV also features V-Mode, which allows drivers to configure selected aspects of braking response, engine sound, and driving dynamics.

Cadillac has not announced a separate engine or power upgrade specifically for the Checo Pérez Edition. Its exclusivity comes primarily from its personalised styling, numbered production, and connection to the Formula 1 driver.

Price and Availability

Cadillac Mexico announced a price of MXN 4,099,000 for the Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition, with availability through authorised Cadillac dealerships in Mexico beginning October 20, 2026.

Production is restricted to 11 vehicles, making it a particularly exclusive offering for collectors and buyers seeking a personalised version of Cadillac’s performance SUV.

The company has not announced official availability of this special edition in India or other international markets. Prospective buyers outside Mexico would need to confirm availability, import eligibility, duties, and registration requirements independently.

What This Means for Cadillac

The special edition demonstrates how Cadillac is connecting its luxury vehicles with its expanding presence in Formula 1. By linking the Escalade-V to a recognised racing driver, the brand brings motorsport identity into a premium road-going vehicle.

For Cadillac, the edition also reinforces the V-Series performance identity while giving collectors a vehicle distinguished by its limited production and individual numbering.

Although the Checo Pérez Edition does not introduce a new powertrain, its exclusive design and direct association with Formula 1 create a distinct position within the Escalade-V lineup.

With only 11 examples planned for Mexico, the Cadillac Escalade-V Checo Pérez Edition stands out as a limited-production combination of American luxury, V8 performance, and motorsport-inspired personalisation.
